Melissa Bernaldez
Pattern Drafter & Production Cutter

Melissa's technical proficiency includes ten years of formally trained sewing and pattern drafting experience. With a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology, majoring in Clothing, Textiles, and Material Culture from the University of Alberta, Melissa brings a keen focus on textile science, design, and sustainability to Simply Best. Her commitment to sustainability is further underscored by her Certificate of Sustainability from the University of Alberta.
Tamara Krawchuck
Designer, Founder, Inventor, Fitting Technician

Tamara is the driving force behind Simply Best, bringing over three decades of entrepreneurial expertise to our company. With a Dressmaking and Tailoring Tech Certification from NAIT and business start-up training through the Alberta Innovates Velocity Catalyzer program at Edmonton Unlimited, Tamara has a solid foundation in both garment construction and business management. It is her high-level understanding of the garment industry, market trends, and competitors alongside her experiences in launching her business that positions her as the strategic leader in our company.
Elise Frederickson
Product Manager

With a diverse background in entrepreneurship, medical esthetics, and community leadership, Elise brings a deep understanding of people and product to the Simply Best team. Through holding BComm degree from MacEwan University, extensive business start-up training through the Alberta Innovates Velocity Catalyser program, and her own previous business ventures, Elise combines her relevant experiences with her drive to ensure each client receives the best possible product and service.
